End User License Agreement

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single legal entity) and Vanta Audio Tech for the Vanta Audio Mastering Engine software, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation (collectively, the "Software").

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the Software.

1. Grant of License

Vanta Audio Tech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software according to the specific License Tier you have purchased or been assigned. The Software is licensed, not sold.

2. License Tiers

Personal License

Permits the use of the Software by a single individual on their personal computers.

  • You may use the Software to master your own original music or audio projects.
  • You may commercially release and distribute the audio processed with this license.
  • Restriction: You may NOT use this license to provide commercial mastering services for third-party clients (i.e., operating as a mastering engineer for hire).

Professional License

Permits the use of the Software by a single individual audio professional or freelancer.

  • Includes all rights of the Personal License.
  • You MAY use this license to provide commercial mastering services for third-party clients.
  • Restriction: Limited to a single user. Cannot be installed on shared studio computers accessed by multiple engineers.

Studio License

Permits the use of the Software within a single physical commercial facility or corporate entity.

  • Includes all rights of the Professional License for multiple engineers working on behalf of the licensed entity.
  • Permitted for multi-seat deployment within the specified facility.
  • Restriction: Cannot be shared across multiple separate physical studio locations or subsidiary companies without additional licensing.

Education License

Permits the use of the Software by a recognized educational institution.

  • May be installed campus-wide on institutional computers (Mac) according to the bought user tier.
  • Students may use the Software to commercially release their own work created during their enrollment.
  • Restriction: The educational institution and its staff/students may NOT use this license to operate a commercial mastering facility or provide third-party client mastering services for profit.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All title and intellectual property rights in and to the Software (including but not limited to any algorithms, DSP processes, code, images, and text incorporated into the Software) are owned by Vanta Audio Tech. You may not copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software.

4. Reverse Engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract any internal data, DSP algorithms, deterministic processing heuristics, or stage configurations from the Software under any circumstances.

5. Vanta Engine Certificates

The Software generates "Auditable Decision Reports" or "Certificates" detailing processing stages. These certificates are provided for your transparency and quality control. You may share these certificates publicly to demonstrate the processing applied to your audio track.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VANTA AUDIO TECH BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

Vanta applies comprehensive audio processing to generate a new master file based on its internal logic; it is your responsibility to maintain backups of your original, unmastered source files.

7. Termination

Without prejudice to any other rights, Vanta Audio Tech may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with its terms. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.
